hahaha, what interesting stuff.
Now, woulda thought, without reading the label, that this stuff'd be corrosive?
not me. I thought it be more like oil,sorta like a lubricant to keep the brakes from jamming when you needed them (btw, i have no idea how brake fluid works, so understand why i came to this conclusion.)
So, i work for an autoparts company. i deliver stuff to people, mostly mechanics. I like this because i get to learn more about cars with my understanding that im not going to get hurt (I'm a klutz, so i try to stay away from objects that are dangerous as much as possible.)
So im leaving one of our sister businesses (corporations have those ya know), with three 4 litre jugs of dot 3 brake fluid. Low and behold, this week's my klutz week. The bottles roll around, and ONE, yes, ONE, manages to break its cap off and the safety seal underneath. so now i have brake fluid going all over the inside of me car. I hit the brakes to slide it towards me so i can reach it, and hold it so it doesn't spill anymore. my hand got covered in the stuff, and then i notice my hand starts to feel like its burning. i turn around and head back to the sister business, to get another jug cause i broke the other one, as well as wash the stuff off my hand. as im washing my hand, i notice that most of the nail polish is GONE. like, nail polish takes a bit to come of, you need the actual remover or acetone or something like that.
It took 5 hand washes to wash this stupid stuff off, and it says on label, wash with soap and water for removal. hah, times 5.
